Healthcare that understands teens.

A trusted medical relationship for your teen — long before it’s needed.

We provide holistic, relationship-based preventative care through continuous access to a dedicated provider — cultivating the trust and space that allows teens to speak up during critical moments and receive thoughtful, concierge-level care exactly when they need it.

Teen Care That Connects

  • Adolescent Mental Health

Proactive adolescent mental wellness care, including comprehensive assessment and thoughtful medication management for anxiety, focus, and mood.

  • Proactive Check-in's

Regular touchpoints for early guidance and intervention to prevent avoidable crises. These calls can be initiated by the teen (with parental consent & agreed guardrails) or requested by parents.

  • Adolescent Reproductive Health

Private support for puberty, menstrual, and reproductive health, including tailored education and guidance.

Why is this different?

WeGotYou reimagines adolescent telehealth through preventive check-ins, mental health support, and reproductive care — delivered in a continuous, relationship-based model to fit the needs of high-achieving high school and college students.

Parents set the guardrails and decide how they stay informed, while teens receive care in a space built on trust and transparency.

Confidentiality First

We respect teen autonomy while keeping parents informed on the big picture. It's a delicate balance we've mastered.

Relationship-Based

Not just a transaction. We build trust over time, so your teen has someone to turn to before things get bad.

Weekend & Evening Availability

We fit into your family's schedule. Appointments are available outside of school hours, so teens don't have to miss class or activities.

Why Families Trust Us

Two women in black blazers and white shirts standing against a gray background, labeled as Shayna Dahan and Samantha Kesten.

SHAYNA DAHAN, PNP, PMHS
Shayna Dahan is a Columbia University-trained, dual-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Pediatric Mental Health Specialist offering a unique integration of medical and mental health expertise. Drawing on her extensive pediatric background, she combines clinical precision with a deep understanding of mental health, ensuring that every patient receives individualized, developmentally informed, and medically safe care. For years, patients have asked Shayna to open a practice where they could continue care in a space where they feel comfortable, supported, and confident they are in expert hands. Shayna’s greatest passion is being part of a teen’s journey, helping them navigate challenges, build resilience, and grow into the people they want to be. She creates a space where teens feel seen, heard, and empowered to ask questions, explore their health, and take an active role in their care, while also guiding and supporting families through these critical years.

SAMANTHA KESTEN, WHNP-BC
Samantha Kesten, a certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner trained at Columbia University, brings over 15 years of expertise in women’s and adolescent care. She specializes in guiding young women through this sensitive transitional stage, addressing everything from menstrual health to emerging relationships. When might this not be the right fit?

Our membership is not intended to replace or run alongside ongoing therapy or psychiatric treatment.

If your teen is actively working with a therapist or psychiatrist, we recommend maintaining continuity with that provider rather than splitting care.

Families are still welcome to enroll for reproductive health services or general adolescent check-ins.

If you’re unsure whether this is the right fit, we’re happy to discuss your teen’s needs before enrollment.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Our telemedicine appointments are conducted via secure video calls. Sessions are private, HIPAA-compliant, and you can access the visit via text message link. No app download required.

  • Yes! For the initial consultation, we encourage parents to join. This helps us understand your family's values and goals. For ongoing sessions, we balance teen privacy with parental involvement based on the service type, your teen's age, and family preferences. We always discuss this upfront so everyone knows what to expect.

  • We take privacy seriously and comply with all HIPAA regulations. All video sessions are encrypted and secure. We also prioritize the teen's privacy to encourage open communication, which is essential for effective care. However, we believe in a family-centered approach. We keep parents informed about the care plan and safety concerns, but specific details of conversations may remain private depending on state laws and the teen's preference. In cases involving safety concerns, we have clear protocols that include parent notification.

  • While many conditions can be effectively treated via telemedicine, we recognize some situations require in-person evaluation. If our providers determine your teen needs in-person care, we'll provide referrals to trusted local specialists and coordinate the transition of care.

  • We are in-network with Aetna (mental health only) and Northwell Direct in New York only. We also have our membership and fee-for-service option. We are happy to provide any documentation needed for out-of-network benefits. Please contact us if you have any questions about our fees.

  • Most families can schedule an appointment within 2-3 business days. You can book directly through our calendar system or contact us for assistance.

  • Absolutely. All our providers are board-certified and have extensive experience working specifically with teenagers and their families. They understand the unique physical, emotional, and developmental needs of adolescents and are trained in age-appropriate communication.

  • Our telemedicine service is not for emergencies. If your teen is experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.

OUR STORY

WeGotYou
and we mean it.

A woman and a girl sitting on a bed, looking at a laptop together in a bright room with a window and a plant in the background.

Some partnerships are built in boardrooms—ours began in 2008 at Columbia University, where we discovered a shared dedication to exceptional patient care. Since then, we’ve built parallel careers in adolescent and women’s health, referring patients to one another across our specialties. Families not only benefited from both services but also appreciated our shared style—welcoming, relatable, and reassuring, while delivering the highest standard of care.

What started as natural collaboration grew into a shared vision: to bring comprehensive, coordinated care to families through a single, trusted destination. WeGotYou was created to unify adolescent medical and mental health services in a way that feels integrated, intentional, and guided by the unique needs of each patient and family.

At the heart of our work is a profound respect for the parent–child partnership. As we tailor care to your child’s needs, we do so in alignment with your values, goals, and vision for their wellbeing. Because at the end of the day, WeGotYou—both of you.
